Last weekend, while I was in Philadelphia, I ordered a delicious mocktail at Talula’s Garden. I enjoyed it so much, that I recreated it this morning! This Anti-Inflammatory Tonic mocktail is made from all-natural ingredients that help support a healthy immune system. Rich in vitamin C and high in anti-inflammatory properties, this mocktail is both nutritious and delicious.
Ginger
For centuries, ginger used for its medicinal properties. It helps combat digestive issues such as nausea, loss of appetite, pain, and motion sickness.
Recommended to pregnant women, ginger eases morning sickness. It also acts as a diaphoretic, meaning it promotes sweating and aids the body in flushing out toxins. In addition, for those who experience chronic pain or osteoarthritis. For example, in clinical trials, ginger reduced inflammation and pain associated with arthritis.
Limes
Limes are full of antioxidants, including flavonol glycosides-containing kaempferol. According to recent studies, this antioxidant stops cell division in some cancers cells. In addition, limes have a compound known as limonoid, that can help fight lung, breast, mouth, colon, breast, and skin cancer. Limonoids also protect the body by attaching to sugar molecules and inhibiting their damaging effects!
It’s time to get your drink on!
